The best players from Europe compete against the golfing elite of Asia in a spectacular series of matches for stewardship over the perpetual 16-kilogram Royal Trophy, graciously donated by His Majesty the King of Thailand.

Samutprakarn Crocodile Farm and Zoo was founded in 1950 by Mr. Utai Youngprapakorn. It is also the world’s first, largest and most progressive crocodile breeding farm. It is situated at Tambon Tai Ban, 3 km from Samut Prakan town, 10 km from Bangkok. The farm has over 80,000 crocodiles with different sizes from less than one foot to 6 meters long. There are 5,000 of giant crocodiles, which are 5 – 6 meters long. The farm has a hybrid crocodile of the saltwater and the freshwater, called “Chao Yai”. Chao Yai is the world’s largest crocodile, and certified by the Guinness Book of Records as having the length of 6 meters, the weight of 1,114.27 kgs.

The Ancient City, also known as Muang Boran, is in the province of Samut Prakarn. It is also located close to the Crocodile Farm. Muang Boran is known as the world’s largest outdoor museum for both entertaining and historically interesting. It is located on old Sukhumvit Highway, Km 33. This 320-acre outdoor museum is an architectural reflection of Thailand’s magnificent past. There are more than 100 scaled down constructions of Thailand’s most important historical landmarks and monuments including temples and palaces. Some of them can no longer be visited in their original locations. The grounds of the Ancient City correspond roughly to the shape of the Kingdom, with each of the monuments lying at their correct places geographically. Some of the buildings are life-size replicas of existing or former sites, while others are one-third scale.

Villagers pitch in to create an amazing eating festival to entice visitors to explore nearby ecotourism trails.
